Our fifteen community and junior colleges are the workforce training providers of choice in Mississippi. Noncredit workforce education enables the colleges to respond to local labor market demands by meeting the workforce needs of current and future employers, as well as the needs of individuals for short-term skills training.
The division is also responsible for working with community and junior college personnel to develop and review the following: the Qualifications Manual for Career-Technical personnel, the Practical Nursing Accreditation Manual, the Practical Nursing Self-Study Process, and the Equipment Manual.
