Call for Proposals

The 2022 Workforce and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Conference is the premier annual Mississippi gathering of CTE professionals in an exciting, educational, and informative agenda packed with CTE sessions and a rich array of networking opportunities.

Thank you for your interest in wanting to help mold and shape the program for the 2022 conference. The 2022 Workforce and CTE Conference will be held August 3-5, 2022 (Pearl River Resort).

Our selection committee will be focusing on innovative ideas or new approaches to key challenges within CTE, and choosing sessions that feature evidence-based, high-quality career and technical education (CTE) program of study elements. Quality sessions will seek to engage the audience and provide attendees with practical, best practices and resources that will directly impact CTE programs and student achievement. Sessions are typically 45 minutes in length and should allow time for questions. The deadline for presentation proposal submissions is Friday, June 17, 2022.

The theme of this year’s conference is Connecting to Transform Mississippi: Envisioning an Empowered Workforce. In a work landscape that has changed dramatically in just two years, workforce, career, and technical educators are in a unique position to provide the training needed for individuals to thrive in today’s workplace. The future holds an extraordinary opportunity to work together towards positive, innovative, and relevant results.
