Dr. Dianne Watson was appointed to the Board to represent the Fourth Congressional District by Governor Phil Bryant in 2018.
Dr. Watson, along with her husband, Dr. Bob Watson, own Brookhaven Animal Hospital. She practiced veterinary medicine full time until she decided to home school their children in 2009. Dr. Watson practiced medicine part-time until 2012. At that time, Dr. Watson began teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology at Brookhaven Academy, where she is currently employed, but still fills in occasionally at Brookhaven Animal Hospital.
Dr. Dianne Watson is a native and lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She is a 1987 graduate of Loyd Star High School, a 1989 graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, and a 1993 graduate of Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Watson serves on the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Athletic Alumni Association Nominating Committee, and is a Past-President of that committee
Dr.’s Bob and Dianne have four children, Colton, Cameron, Cade, and Carter. The entire family is actively involved at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where they are members.
