Mr. Videt Carmichael was appointed to the Board by Governor Bryant in 2019 to represent the Third Congressional District.
Mr. Carmichael served in the State Senate from 2000 to 2019, representing District 33 which includes Clarke and Lauderdale Counties. Videt is a former teacher, coach, principal and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
He is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and Mississippi State University.
Videt and his wife, Donna, reside in Meridian and have two children and six grandchildren.
