The Finance division is responsible for organizing and compiling financial information for the community college system. Responsibilities  include allocating and disbursing state funds to the colleges, preparing the consolidated annual budget request, and providing financial reports to the MCCB, legislature, college presidents, other agencies, and Mississippi taxpayers.

This division also provides the management and administration of purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, personnel, asset management, and financial reporting for the MCCB.
