CTE Uniform Course Numbering System
The system of identifying courses in all CTE curricula was adopted in 2005 and was implemented by the fifteen public community and junior college districts in the 2006-2007 academic year. The course numbering system is made possible by the continued collaboration and efforts of the MCCB staff and the Career Technical Officers Association (CTOA) members.
A general revision of the numbering system is prepared each year. A CTOA screening committee reviews new courses. When a new course is added or an existing course is revised, the name of the course, a complete course description, the course number, and the semester credit hour (SCH) breakdown is revised.

Curriculum Revision Schedule
The fall and spring curriculum and revision development schedule is posted each summer. Most CTE curricula are revised every four to five years, or when program standards dramatically change.
