Millwright Technology

The Millwright Technology pathway includes the Industrial Maintenance option. It is an instructional program that prepares individuals to manufacture metal parts on machines such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, and milling machine equipment.

Welding Technology

The Welding and Cutting Technology pathway prepares students for entry level employment in the field of welding and cutting. Student will be prepared to understand Blueprint Reading, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal ArcWelding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC), Carbon Arc Cutting, Oxyfuel Cutting, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Electives are available in advanced levels of welding and cutting.

Industrial Maintenance

The Industrial Maintenance pathway prepare students to receive instruction in a wide variety of areas including safety, machinery maintenance and troubleshooting/service, blueprint reading, basic machining operations, fundamentals of piping and hydrotesting, and fundamentals of industrial electricity.

Oil and Gas Production Technology (Petroleum Technician/ Entry Level Petroleum Trainee)

The Oil and Gas Production Technology pathway prepares individuals to acquired basic technical skills in equipment, instrumentation, and operation of production systems in oil and gas as well as other carbon based processing facilities. Graduates will have a broadened vocabulary along with basic industrial communication and computer skills to make job specific learning less difficult.

Process Operations

The Process Operations Technology pathway prepares technicians for employment in the diverse field of process operations in petroleum refineries, power generation facilities, pharmaceutical plants, chemical plants, waste water treatment plants, food and beverage process plants, offshore oil production facilities and a host of other industries.
