Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology Commercial Facility Maintenance and Repair Option

The Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technology pathway prepares individuals to work in engineering departments or private firms installing, maintaining, and operating small or medium air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems. The curriculum provides instruction to prepare individuals to work in a commercial setting performing special tasks relating to designing ductwork, assembly, installation, servicing, operation, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems according to industry standards. The Commercial Facility Maintenance and Repair Option allows the college to work with local business/industry in selecting electives to strengthen the students pathway experience.
