Automotive Machinist
Automotive Machinist Technology pathway is designed to prepare an individual use of precision measuring instruments, hand tools, machines, and equipment. The curriculum provides instruction in the types and uses of hand, mechanical, power, and hydraulic tools, along with types of fluids, cutting oils, and coolants. Disassembly and inspection of automotive engines, resurfacing brake drums and rotors, basic engine balancing, and cylinder head rebuilding are included.
Provided below is a prior year version of this framework. While we suggest you utilize the current year version, we have guidelines on how you can use the prior year version for this semester, and then switch to the current year next semester.
