Live Entertainment

Live entertainment technicians enhance live performances by affecting the audience’s senses using audio, video, and lighting technologies appropriate to the production and its environment.  The Live Entertainment Technology curriculum prepares individuals for entry-level employment in the entertainment industry, particularly in the fields of concert sound and lighting. Course work includes exposure to the entire live concert sound and lighting processes.

Simulation and Game Design Technology

The Simulation and Animation Design pathway provides individuals with knowledge and skills necessary to create content for video games, simulated environments, Extended Reality (XR), training simulators, advertising media, web content, CGI, and architectural visualization. The curriculum content includes in-depth analysis and training in three-dimensional modeling, rendering, and animation skills for both entertainment and industrial applications.

Media Technology

The Media Technology pathway prepares individuals to work in various broadcasting media as broadcasting control room and other various technician positions. The curriculum content includes communication, leadership, human relations, and employability skills; announcing and moderating programs; programming and operating radio/television broadcast equipment to support in the production of materials and production and broadcasting of materials or programs in radio/television format.

Entertainment Media

The Film and Video Technology pathway provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to find employment in the film and video industry. The curriculum prepares individuals to work on feature film, television commercials, music videos, documentary films, Internet multimedia, and other audio-visual media forms.

Graphic Design

The Graphic Design Technology pathway prepares an individual in the field of graphic design, commercial art, media art, and web graphics. Individuals receive instruction in the design and execution of publications, packaging, web graphics, illustrations, rendering, logo design, and design principles that are necessary to produce designs for printed ads, books, posters, billboards, catalogs, brochures, and other forms of visual communications.

Digital Arts and Design Technology

The Web Development Technology pathway prepares individuals for training in web design and development, e‐ commerce strategies, content management systems, graphic design, programming and markup languages, database administration, and data driven content. Individuals receive instruction to gain expertise in web development for fields such as government agencies, corporations, entrepreneurship, and remote employment.
