Emergency Medical Services (EMT/Paramedic) Technology with Bridge

Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic  with Bridge is an instructional program that prepares individuals to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system.

The paramedic is an allied health professional whose primary focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system.

Emergency Medical Services Technology options (EMT Paramedic)

Emergency Medical Technician is a one-semester instructional program that prepares individuals to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system.

The paramedic is an allied health professional whose primary focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system.

Massage Therapy

The Massage Therapy program is offered as a one-year certificate program or a two-year Associates of Applied Science program designed to prepare students for careers as professional massage therapists. The curriculum prepares students to develop knowledge and skills for practicing massage therapy.

Practical Nursing

The Practical Nursing pathway is designed to prepare individuals to assist in providing general nursing care requiring basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, psychological, and sociological sciences, and of nursing procedures that do not require the skills, judgment, and knowledge required of a registered nurse. This care is performed under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician, or licensed dentist.

Ophthalmic Technology

Ophthalmic Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals to assist ophthalmologists by performing ophthalmic clinical functions. Individuals are given the opportunity to master skills necessary to administer eye exams, administer eye medications, and instruct the patient in care and use of corrective lenses.

Medical Laboratory Technology

The Medical Laboratory Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals to work in a medical laboratory. As members of the health-care delivery team, clinical laboratory personnel are responsible for assuring reliable and accurate laboratory test results that contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention of physiological and pathological conditions.

Radiologic Technology

The Radiologic Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals to perform imaging examinations and accompanying responsibilities at the request of physicians and/or qualified practitioners qualified to prescribe and/or perform radiologic procedures. They utilize equipment emitting ionizing radiation to produce radiographic images of the internal structures of human anatomy. These radiographic images are utilized by the physician for diagnostic purposes.
