Individuals will be given the opportunity to master skills to design and manipulate databases using a variety of programming languages, database software, hardware maintenance, and operating system functions.
The Computer Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals for entry-level positions in managing computer operations in an office environment. Individuals will be given the opportunity to masker skills in software configuration, troubleshooting, network administration and system operations.
The Computer Servicing Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals to be employable as computer and IT support specialists to interface with IT hardware, communications, and mobile technology resources. Individuals will be given the opportunity to master skills necessary to install, maintain, service, and diagnose operational problems in PC hardware or mobile IT systems arising from software, mechanical, or electrical malfunctions, with emphasis on support of computer networks, server maintenance, and cloud technologies.
The Network Security Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals in the areas of confidentiality, integrity, and availability in information security. Individuals will be given the opportunity to master skills necessary to install, design, manage, operate, plan, maintain and troubleshoot hardware in a secure information technology infrastructure.
The Computer Networking Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals to master skills in telecommunications, network technologies, administration, hardware maintenance, operating systems and network planning, and implementation. Individuals will have opportunities for employment as computer support specialists, network technicians, and network managers or administrators.
The Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration Technology pathway is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the database administration field. The Extended Reality pathway is designed to prepare individuals for the basics of XR, hardware, history of XR, different applications of XR, psychology of Extended Reality, and the challenges of the medium.
The Computer Coding Technology pathway is designed to prepare individuals to be software developers. Individuals will be given the opportunity to master skills such as the fundamentals of coding, app development, web applications, and the life leadership skills as they relate to: HTML and CSS, Database Fundamentals, Python, and JavaScript.
The Mobile App Development pathway is designed to prepare individuals to design, code, and test software applications using Swift as the language. Individuals will be given the opportunity to master skills necessary to build a basic iOS app from scratch and design user interface, which are fundamental to programming and making great apps.
