Advancing Adult Education in Mississippi
The Office of Adult Education administers Mississippi’s Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA) program under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title II. As the state’s coordinating agency, the office provides funding, guidance, and performance oversight to eligible providers across Mississippi. Adult education programs help individuals build the academic, digital, and workforce skills needed to transition into further education, job training, or employment.
