Supporting Digital Learning Across Mississippi

The Office of eLearning and Instructional Technology supports Mississippi’s 15 community colleges in delivering high-quality digital learning experiences. Beyond coordinating the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC), the division monitors national trends, federal regulations, and state authorization; develops systemwide professional development; promotes effective use of instructional technology; oversees procurement of digital education services; and represents the system in national digital learning conversations.

Our mission is to ensure every college has the tools, training, and support needed to provide flexible, accessible, and innovative learning opportunities.

Coordinated Systemwide. Powered Locally.

The Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC) is a collaborative partnership of all 15 Mississippi community colleges, coordinated by the Mississippi Community College Board. For more than 25 years, the MSVCC has expanded access to high-quality online learning by sharing courses, technologies, and resources across the system.

Students gain the flexibility to take courses from any participating institution while receiving support and services through their home college. Faculty and staff benefit from shared professional development, digital libraries, instructional technologies, and coordinated best practices that strengthen teaching and learning. Together, Mississippi’s community colleges deliver innovation, opportunity, and success no matter where learning takes place.
